CHARACTER INFORMATION
➤ CHARACTER NAME: Emma Grace Frost
➤ SERIES: Marvel 616
➤ CHARACTER AGE: In one comic, she is said to be 27 years old in canon.

➤ CANON POINT: The beginning of her psychic affair with Scott Summers before Jean's death (and before Emma fell in love with Scott).
➤ SEXUALITY: In canon, Emma is heterosexual. She has many issues with men (including her father) which points to her being attracted to men instead of women and there is nothing in canon to indicate anything with women other than teacher/student relations.
➤ PERSONALITY: Emma was raised in a wealthy family, trying to get her father’s approval. She was extremely close to her brother, Christian, who was homosexual and never accepted by the Frost family. His eventual attempted suicide – while Winston Frost praised his other daughters Cordelia and Adrienne (and caused Emma’s mother to overdose several times on drugs) was only part of the dysfunction of the family. She eventually left the millions her father wished to give to her and went to college after a failed crush on her high school teacher, Ian Kendell, who eventually feared Emma’s mutations once he discovered them. This, combined with how Emma was such a poor student since elementary school (leading to her being sent away at a young age to a preparatory school where she was bullied) forged Emma into the figure she is today. She became convinced that homosuperior was better than homosapien and fought for mutant rights any way she could.
After she moved to Boston, she became involved with a man named Troy Killkelly. He was eventually killed and Emma was hardened again by yet another romantic failure, using her powers to get revenge on the gangsters who killed her lover before taking their money and enrolling in Empire State University. This was where Ian returned into her life and promptly left again, which caused Emma to bleach her hair blonde, adopt a more “cold” attitude towards people, and vow to use her powers for her own advantages.
She eventually earned degrees in business and education and began using men and telepathy to get what she wanted. This was the start of her criminal career, beginning mainly with the Hellfire Club and Sebastian Shaw, whom she had an affair with in order to move her way up the ranks into the Inner Circle. She was known as a dominatrix and ice queen, though how many men she actually slept with and how many she used her telepathy on to make them think she slept with is unclear in canon. The Hellfire Club forced her to dress provocatively, which allowed people to underestimate her abilities and intellect, and is something she has always kept in canon since then.
It is unclear in canon if she had an affair with Erik Lensherr/Magneto as she manipulated him into a position of power in the Hellfire Club, though many signs point to “yes”. When she was part of the Massachusetts Academy, or the School for Gifted Youngsters once Emma made a slight turn toward being more of an anti-hero instead of a true villain, she began a friendship that ended in many clashes with Banshee but nothing points to a romance or affair.
Emma’s next main affair was with Tony Stark/Iron Man, who was there as a “friends with benefits” sort of deal and nothing else. When each of them were single or lonely, they would hook up for fun. Emma never allowed herself to feel anything from this because she was too frightened to do so. Her secondary mutation occurred during Genosha, when 16 million people died and she survived, giving her survivor’s guilt which led to her next affair with the married Scott Summers – though their affair was only in the mind and not physical, on the astral plane anything is possible and Emma knew this as she pursued Scott and angered Jean.
She enjoys manipulating humans and men due to her childhood problems, which also shaped how she likes to show herself to the public (or rather, not show herself). She hides her true feelings from everyone and puts on an air of bitchiness and superiority in order to keep herself safe, which is symbolically represented by her diamond mutation. Emma has a reputation that she is a “slut”, but most of her relationships stem from either a hope for love and true emotions, fake telepathic relationships she created to advance her own ambitions, or someone she trusts enough to sleep with (but without feelings) to keep her heart safe. She claims to be heartless, but she has her moments of weakness. (678)
➤ POWERS: Emma is one of the world's most powerful telepaths, second only to Charles Xavier and Jean Grey in terms of strength - although she has defeated both on the astral plane before. She has a secondary mutation that allows her body to crystallize into an impenetrable diamond, but in this shape her telepathy no longer works. If she remains in this state for too long, her emotions vanish as well.
➤ SUITABILITY: Emma's sexual nature would fit within the scope of the game, as she would have no problems with one-night stands, etc. In terms of the science fiction aspect of the game, she would believe it is another example of humans trying to experiment on mutants and would fight against it, which could create some interesting CR.
➤ FIRST PERSON EXAMPLE:
[Emma sighs as she looks at the idiotic thing that apparently is a means to speak to people. Really, it's absurd considering she could mind-wipe anyone here, but why play all of her cards immediately? She can play along and be the good little girl that most would expect of her for the moment.
Later on, she'll give everyone the truth.
She puts on her best smile, the one she's perfected the whole of her life, and turns the device on. She's the picture of sweetness and charm, at least for the moment.]
Hello, darlings. My name is Emma, and I'm most interested in learning...
[Oh, to hell with it all.]
... what the bloody hell am I doing here? Hmm? Can anyone out there give me a tiny clue?
[The fake British accent is clear and strong while she tries not to roll her eyes. At least she hasn't given away all of her cards just yet. A deep breath, and she's back to the girl she pretends to be.]
Thank you all.
➤ THIRD PERSON EXAMPLE:
When she woke up, Emma was naturally disoriented, but she wasn't unused to something like this. Mutants had been experimented on and kidnapped for years, and she wouldn't be terribly surprised if that was what, in fact, was happening to her yet again.
That, or she was dead or in a coma once more. It was always so horribly tiresome to tell the difference these days.
She was dressed in her preferred white clothes and... well, suffice to say that the accommodations were insufficient to Emma's standards. No male in the room which was a disappointment as well, as it meant she'd spent the night alone. Again.
It was a good thing that Emma had many years satisfying herself when men weren't around to do so. Besides, she was much better at finding that perfect spot than any of her lovers. She should give them all lessons, true ones, on how to properly satisfy a woman in bed.
Pushing those thoughts aside, Emma splayed herself on the small bed after undressing and began to touch her breasts, squeezing them tightly, before moving her fingers lower to quench the ache between her legs. She shut her eyes and pictured... no one. There wasn't anyone to really picture, after all, which only served to further her frustration. She rubbed herself harder, faster, eyes tight to the world and to anyone and as she came, she nearly cried from the lack of emotion and connection that was there. It was something she'd grown accustomed to through the Hellfire Club, but it left an aching hole of emptiness right then.
Damn it, she thought to herself as she reigned in the emotions she didn't wish to share and placed her mask back on to greet the day.
